Tour de Cure – Diabetes benefit ride

This ride started it all.  It gave me a goal to ride.  I rode 41.908 miles this day.  That was my longest ride ever.  That included an optional “killer hill”.  This was my first organized ride with rest stops, SAG support (Support And Gear), road markings, etc…  I had a great time and look forward to it next year.

D’oh!  I forgot to wear my “I survived Killer Hill” button they gave me at the top.

** note (8/31/10).  As I repost this I wonder, who was that amateur?  Walmart helmet, prescription clip on sunglasses, COTTON t-shirt, tennis shoes, no spandex at all.
